You have to see this.

Speedy Gonzales....:D No way you will do for 20 sec
I did for 30-32 sec
As far I remember to get a passing mark for AK-47 required around 40 sec.

In Soviet high school AK47 assemble/disassemble for "A" was under
20sec., i was doing around 13 sec.

Yes, you are right, the 13 sec is dissemble only, the assemble is longer, but usually less that 20 sec, so altogether still less that 35 sec for sure.

I wish the highschool I went too involved assault rifles

yeah. lol. when i have kids, i should send them to school in Russia! probably learn something useful there, rather than the BS they teach here.

as for the video, the look she gets on her face when her dad tells her the time is priceless! :D

way to go girl! i've never even fired an AR, never mind taking one apart.

Sorry for bringing back such an old thread, but i found an interesting school photo from 80s. It is written 10-13 sec... And i'm really liking a couple of AKs in the classroom corner ;-)

Damn.

*sigh* And in Canada CF get no respect. You say you want to enlist, and people look at you like you're crazy.

How do you say it in Russian? "Kakuju stranu prosrali".

On the other hand, rules for civilian firearm ownership in USSR and now in Russia are rather... strict. 5 years with a shotty after getting a hunting permit, then apply for a rifle permit, no more then 5 firearms per permit holder, annual inspection, or somesuch.
