Incidentally... my XD is partially tupperware. Should I call it "real plastic/steel" or is there a more appropriate "airsofter" term?
I have a real KX3 sitting here waiting for my upper to arrive... although they do look very similar, there are some very subtle differences. However, if I didn't have a real one to compare with, it would be easy to assume the "fake" one was real.
Edited to add:
The differences are,
1. The spring on the real KX3 is reversed from the one you see in the fake pic (it goes in the opposite direction).
2. The spring indentation in the body of the real KX3 is almost parallel to the logo and text (it doesn't cut through it).
3. The Noveske company logo is placed higher up on the real KX3, not perfectly centered with the text as it is in the fake photo.

Well either you shop at reputable dealers or you take your chances...I doubt anybody could tell the difference from a quick online photo if you were buying a real one vs. the fake.
Maybe putting pig cans on toys increases your cool factor and lessens your chances of nerd gang rape if your side looses at an airsoft get together?
