You know what sucks?

The rifle is “mine”. Won the Anderson lower last year shooting a borrowed rifle and had an expat buddy take possession of it.

Bought a PSA 18” rifle-length gas complete upper. Built the lower up out of prize table items from other Canadians.

Added a Timney AR Pro trigger and selector, and JP brake.

3 of us shot it for the staff and regular match. Over 1k in a week. Zero malfunctions.

It was built by two of us but my buddy got a complete lower this year so we’ll build his up for next year.

11 stages. 2 days for the staff match and 3 for the main.

The heat was crazy. Even hot for the locals.

Just north of Mesa, Arizona at the Rio Salado range. It shows up well on google earth. Massive facility.

I didn’t see any snakes, but they’re there.

Didn’t have a chance to chat much with Jerry. I was running the preload table when he came through. Most shooters aren’t too chatty when they’re getting ready and I wasn’t going to intrude.

Hey Stevo. Stage 2, that's the one I worked for the main match. I didn't get a chance to talk to you after the RO prize table - did you get some cool stuff? I picked up an IWI Masada Slim Elite.

Mark Roth always shoots the entire match in flip-flops, and occasionally with a cigarette hanging from his mouth.

None of us 4 got picked high enough and we all have lowers already.

I got a nice mini RDS and and ADM 30mm mount. And the other assorted stuff of course.
