You know you're a milsurp collector when.....

When you can look at a headstamp and tell which arsenal in which country made the cartridge. when you can identify the colour codes on ammunition without looking them up. and most important, when you can replace the extractor spring in an Enfield without breaking it! And you have a set of military headspace gages to check out a find at a gunshow before buying it.

When you get upset with your 8 year old son because he picks up the Arisaka instead of the Garand while playing XBox 360 WWII games. Oh yes and when you only buy your kids WWII XBox 360 games lol including your daughter because you want to see the details of the guns...........

When you talk kindly to a good friend about his brand new Lee Enfield, then he shows you are shown a horribly disfigured bubba job, and you nearly, almost, vomit.

When you watch a WWI or WWII movie and you pause and rewind through the whole movie (pissing everyone else who is watching the movie) to complain that such and such gun wasn't available at the time for another couple months at the time the soldiers in the movie are supposedly using it or such and such part isn't original and you can tell because....

When you need a Lathe to make parts for 100 year old rifles! (True)

When your wife asks how many more of those rifles you need to equip your regiment. (happened with last 2 Ross I bought)
