But maybe you have never shot a CZ yet. I don't profess to be the best pistol shot, but when I got my CZ 85 Combat my groups shrunk dramatically compared to all my other pistols and even revolvers. This gun is amazing. It even likes my hand loads with cast bullets. As many of you know cast bullets and 9 mm's are not always a great match.
There are many fine pistols out there, but you would be hard pressed to fine one much more accurate at any price compared to a CZ.
The target on the left is a 10 shot group at 20 yards slow fire, the target on the right is a 20 shot group. again slow fire at 20 yards.
Second picture below is one I shot yesterday, again at 20 yards and slow fire.

The CZ became my answer after a long time trying to find a 9mm that I liked.

I have an SP-01 Shadow and an 85Combat

With some careful stoning I've eliminated the "camming" in the 85 hammer and have a trigger pull near as good as the Shadow.

I've also converted both to Single Action Only with a Dlask trigger and the elimination of the DA connector from the hammers.
 
I have to agree here. On all the 9mm guns I have shot ( Sigs, Glocks etc.) I think my results are way better with a SP01 Shadow.

Since I bought a S&W SD9 with a really crappy trigger, even as a noob pistol shooter I'd have to suggest that the feel of the trigger pull has to be one of the more important factors in accuracy.

Which gun has your favourite trigger?
Mine was a well-worn Luger I shot many many years ago.

My CZ's are great guns and they do their share to make me look better than I think I am. But I get consistently better results when I shoot my S&W K frame revolvers when I'm shooting at a slow pace for the best accuracy.

Import, I use my own pre-B for my IDPA shooting when I'm not flailing around with the revolver. You are going to be super happy with that gun. In some ways I like it better than my Shadow.

those groups suck!! :p ... yup i'm jealous lol great shooting!! always found the CZ's to be amazing guns, i have a jericho that is almost identical to a CZ and i still want to add a CZ 75 to my collection, they feel and shoot so good, i personally think the jericho and CZ's are the best bang for your buck. some will crucify me for saying this but i'd take a jericho or cz over a glock any day. I found they eat any ammo out there i loaded heavy lead bullets before (no availability of lighter grain bullets at the time) and it ate and shot them very well. maybe for christmas i'll stop shooting other peoples CZ and give myself a CZ from santa lol.
