Been waiting for this one for a long time, just came in the other day....The B-Day was several months ago, and I ordered it long before that:D Now to get to the range this weekend if work doesn't get in the way. That's a 6x42 on board in Med rings, the lows didn't work....which is intersting b/c that same set up did work on a Montana...I'm wondering if it's b/c of the long action....the barrel shank stays full size just enough to interfere with the bell...Anyway, shes' 7lb 6oz as it sits..which is about 4oz more then a Classic model, must be the more dense wood.

I am confused, I thought it was for sale . Did my ADD comment get to ya :p

Sweet rifle! If it shoots anything like my latest Kimber I am sure you will be happy.

Happy Birthday. Nice rifle that french walnut does have a distinctive grain and colour. I gifted myself with one of those a few years back only in 30-06. I put a 3.5 x 10 VXIII Leupold on it.
Has been my lucky rifle as it has taken a nice bull and several deer in it's career thus far.
I experienced feeding problems from the left side when new, it would not pick up the round. Kimber sent me a new follower and spring. The difference being the spring is bent different. Has worked fine since. Not the most accurate rifle though, presently playing with loads to try and get it to consistantly do better than 1 1/2". I hope yours is a tact driver and trouble free.

Very nice. I decided last year, that I would get about acquiring some of the nice guns I'd alway wanted to own. I went a bit overboard, but, what the hell!!
May as well have what you want, and do the things you want to do while you can.
