Actually, i've tried to put wood on it and didn't like it. I prefer more modern look of it a-la AK -101, Galil etc

Ya, modern looks good. Stick with it. There is another fella on here who has it all done in wood, but black is beautiful too.

I can't remember, but his stuff was awsome. He had a bunch of Dragunovs(or however you spell that) and a wicked looking shorty. I'm pretty sure he did all the work himself, but beautiful job. Why? Was it you?

That depends cuz I personally know the guy who made the dragunovs and a close buddy and myself made the rest.

Plastic is good but I prefer the look of wood on a classic rifle/s
