Young ladies first deer

Went out hunting with my hunting partner and his daughter to get them some meat.She sat with me and made a nice double lung hit at 100 yards and this WT with my .250 Savage Rem 700 Classic and 100gr Sierra handload.Her first deer and her proud father.

It is very good to see young ladies getting involved with hunting.

I raised 3 daughters, and while none of them hunt right now [raising families, lol]
They all enjoyed the hunt and have no delusions about anti-hunting types.

My older son is my hunting partner, and has harvested his fair share of game over the years.

My son from my second marriage is 11.
He shows little interest in hunting itself, but enjoys shooting.

Possibly in time. One thing is sure...
He knows where most of the meat on our table comes from, and thoroughly enjoys it.
