Your 3-Gun Rifle Setup?

You guys run 3G in the great white north Cavs42?

Unfortunately, no. That's what I was running for 3-gun at Spruce Grove while I was in Edmonton. There appears to be some service rifle happening up here though, so that looks promising. Might have to go with a magnified optic though... Vortex Spitfire 3x perhaps!

Cool. You ever shoot with me? In Spruce Grove at a WRAS shoot? Sam and company put on a great match.

I have an ACOG in the classifieds!

I think this year I'm gonna try a 9mm.

It's possible, There were always a bunch of guys out. I did shoot WRAS matches whenever possible though.

I was running around with a helmet cam mounted on my ball cap brim, if that rings any bells.

This rifle is tricked out completely for 3 gun. No other way to make it more 3gun ready than putting an optic on it and going.

NONE.

I can think of one.
I'd put an ambi safety on it as I like to put it on safe with my trigger finger, but that's just my personal preference.

Ambi will only get you dq'ed. It is a negative not a positive. You can argue for Noveske short throw... but otherwise that gun is maxed out for 3g. There is no improvement option.

That's a pretty absolute statement.
Didn't realize you were the authority on what is best for 3 gun.
I apologize for even speaking.

With the vast selection barrel profiles, stocks, brakes and hand guard designs and construction materials, you have obviously found the ultimate combination.

I hope to be at a match with you someday soon, so that I may learn and correct my ways.

Woah there. Lets all be happy for Cbabes great 3gun rifle.

Prove to me the ambi is better.

I was just razzing him because he got DQd for going for the mag release and hitting his trigger. I figured the same can happen if quickly dumping the AR for a transition while going for the safety with the right index finger. Anyway I don't want the ambi! :D
