Well, since the One Shot Match is just canceled, may as well talk about what you are going to bring in case there is a next match coming up.

I was going to bring an 14.5 AR, one point sling, with an Aimpoint M4 and a Leupold 1-5.5 SPR.

I wasn't going to bring a precision rifle - who needs a precision rifle at 100m!?;)
I don't expect to be shooting coins. I was going to swap optics on the move. :ninja:

Too much stuff to bring to the car.......

My 3 gun equip is always the same (can't afford options right now :p)

16" AR, iron sights
G17
Mossberg 590 (ghost rings and side saddle with speed feed stock)

I don't bring a lot in terms of gear/accessories.

Though soon I will need some type of chest rig and a sling for CQB stuff at Borden

AR with a 1x4 IOR scope, 10.5
Mossberg 590A1 SPX with a Reflex site
USP 9mm

thats pretty much my 3 gun stuff.

not to sound like a ding dong but what is 3 gun match? run and gun with 3 guns??:p

That's pretty well it. Except that knowing Farmboy/BadBoyBeeson/6GMG6, you would have to fire either from cover or on the move and only reloading from cover.

And I would fully expect the requirement for transiting from a long-gun to a pistol on the fly, which would entail letting a rifle/shotgun hang in front of you while you do your thing with a pistol.

Now, what am I running...

For this match, I am not quite sure what kind of a rifle I would be running for the "long-range" portion;

My 16" AR with an EoTech sight and a Vickers sling (BlueForce Gear);

Rem 870 Express with a Knoxx SpecOps stock, firing Chemist' amazing low-recoil slugs (which when combined with a "pussy stock" have absolutely no felt recoil)

Kimber Custom TLE II for a pistol.

Now, there is of course a rig to go with that, and I have to say that all of it is right from OneShot. I have something about supporting a local business, especially that of someone I actually know and who supports both the troops and our sport.

The holster I was going to use was a BlackHawk Serpa Level II drop-leg holster, very much standard.

The chest rig is as such:

VooDoo Tactical Universal LBE Harness;

On the left:
ATS Roll-Up Dump Pouch (for discarded partial mags, and keeping my "Barney bullets and in-weapon mags while waiting to approach the line);
VooDoo Tactical Universal C6/C9 pouch (for the shotgun shells);

On the right:

USGI quad pistol mag pouch;
ATS Triple mag shingle;
ATS single M4 mag shingle.

All in all, the load-bearing rig complete (including the holster) rang me about 350 bucks all said. Not overly expensive when you think that a single mag pouch for a dedicated IPSC rig will ring you about 50 bucks each and you'd have anywhere from 4 to (lots) around your waist.

16"(1/4 scope) and 10.3 AR (EO 552)
S&W MP9 and or 1911
REM LTR 308(nightforce 3.5/15x 50)
norc 14"870
a chest rig

I would LOVE to go to a match just to pick the brains of the competitors and watch the fun.

I have a chit house stock Bushmaster with the fixed stock and a 17" barrel (I think - I have never measured it) with a leather GI sling and a whole bunch of those 10 shot mags from Questar, an HK .45 (USP Tactical), and my shottie is a stock 870 with a 28" barrel for knocking geese down.

I suppose I have the makings for a good battery...but some further assembly is required...

'You guys want three gun....?

No disrespect to those putting on matches here, but... Get yourself a Form6NIA and head to the USA.
'Been shooting multi-gun in MI for the past few years and it rocks.
Our regular haunts include BWSA's program which is just a few minutes over the Bluewater Bridge at Sarnia http://www.michigan3guncombat.com/
and the Livingston Gun Clubs 3-gun shoots near Brighton MI. http://www.mi3gun.com/

Here's a POV vid done by our friend Russ of Cavalry Arms showing his view of all eight stages from the LGC '09 championship match

First week in Dec. banger and I will be at the Ft. Benning Ga. 3-gun put on by the AMU (US Army Marksmanship Unit). http://www.fb3g.com/
'Promises to be a great 3 days of shooting... :)
Check out the stages...

We could do the same here if we had the real estate and weren't hobbled by rules and regs that seem to zap all the fun outta shooting.

Oh... I use a 16" RRA AR, a Beneli M4 12 ga. and I waffle between my G17 and Valtro 1911... 'Usually elect to go with the 1911 as I prefer to hit targets rather than miss 'em :D

I figured that the 300WM would have been a tad overkill for 100m, especially since my zero is at 200m, so I might have taken my 16" Stag with TA31F instead. Otherwise, this is pretty much it.
