We post on social media daily. For those of you not on it, we figured we'd share this afternoon's post as it fits well with this muzzle brake thread.

Another hot build topped off with the Hammerhead! Why is it such a favorite choice? Here are some reasons:

1. Tight tolerances on the bore hole helps the brake divert more gas.

2. The side ports are canted rearward which pushes the gas backwards, countering more recoil than if it was at 90 degrees.

3. Top-shelf fit and finish.

4. The concave face directs the gases sideways at the face of the brake, rather than the gases going downward.

5. Vertical ports are as large as possible without creating a downward force.

6. Priced to sell! Not to break the bank!

How is the ability to stay on target for the Hammerhead vs Flarestick?

Somewhat noob at these - been doing some research - I recently purchased a Savage 10T and would like to put one on. Its already over 10lbs.

I like the ability to stay on target with some of my milder rifles - WIll need one in 5/8x24TPI.

I put a hammerhead on my sks and wow! Muzzle jump and recoil were definately tamed. A little harder on unprotect ears tho hahaha

The Hammerhead will provide greater recoil management than the Flarestack.

What's the one on the Vector. Thought it was stinger but not quite after another look.

Hmmm -- I think you're looking at the top picture, the rifle to the furthest left? That was the first version of the Stinger. We switched it up a bit by losing the holes and decreasing the OD so that it would fit in most handguards. This also happened to enable us to lower the price, so it was a win-win.

How is the stinger with the shell on? Does it compensate at all or will it work just to redirect blast?

With the shell on, it still compensates a bit, but definitely less so than without it. But, it definitely redirects the blast -- keeping you friendly with those nearby! :)

I have one my XCR-M, definitely need to adjust the gas. I found with the shell on, there was considerable recoil in comparison. This is less of an issue on 223 / 7.62x39 XCR-L, where I also have stingers.

1. Do you make brakes for the CZ Evo?
2. What is the main purpose of your brakes? Recoil reduction? Flash hiding? Countering muzzle rise?

Yes, the Hammerhead and Stinger both come in 1/2x28TPI in 9mm.

The Hammerhead and the compensator of the Stinger both provide efficient recoil reduction and counter muzzle rise. The Shell of the Stinger gives the added benefit of diverting the blast.

Our Flarestack, although not available in 9mm, is a hybrid unit — it acts as a flash-hider at the same time as a compensator.
