Your best rimfire surprise?

Marlin papoose.

Wasn't expecting much from a teeny takedown with a seriously tiny barrel. With a 4x scope at 50m, half inch groups were achievable on a still day with CCI Standard. At 25m I could drill out roughly 1/4" groups all day with anything CCI. It was even more consistent in terms of accuracy than my CZ Scout. Much less ammo fussy.

Infact, everytime I buy a marlin the accuracy surprises me. Very reliable too.

Mossberg M42(B)
It was a freebie. Badly broken stock, no trigger guard or magazine.
My son worked his magic with the wood and Numrich supplied the parts.
The full wood rifle is a M46
Can nip the heads off of dandelions at 10-15 paces
They are both ridiculously accurate
