Your brand

Love my Bushnell DMR II for my precision rig. Also like my Nikon Monarch 3, always found Nikon to be very clear/bright and I've loved every Swarovski I've ever looked through definitely one of my absolute favourites.

I've reviewed most of the high end scopes and my personal faves are

1. For pure glass quality S+B Pmii
2. For Turrets Vortex Razor 2
3. Best combo of glass and turrets and high mag NF ATACR 7-35
4. Best reticle - SKMR3 (on Kahles 624i) followed by EBR-2C on Razor 2
5. Best Value For Money - Bushnell DMR/HDMR
6. Best newcomers Athlon Cronus BTR and Delta Stryker - both amazing new entries

I'm adding an edit - just got a Minox ZP5. Whoo hooo, glass like SB with better turrets and nice reticle availability. No wonder it is so popular down South.

I'm curious with your experience with top tier scopes, what what would you keep if you could only have one and why

Last 5 scopes I’ve bought have all been NF ATACR’s, love everything about them the glass, the turrets the markings, and now have a tough time bringing myself to buy anything else. Last Fri I have a PST Gen 2 in my hands and was going to give it a try and buy it, but sucked it up damaged the CC and walked out with another ATACR and NF rings.

That all being said, I do also own a few, Nikon, Vortex, Bushnell, Aimpoint, And a Trijicon RMR, so all in all have a variety of optic brands, just been leaning towards NF last few years.

My ATACR has the optional mirage and automated windage at its upper and lower limits. By that I mean it's blurry like you're looking through mirage and the windage is all over the place. The best thing is that Nightforce doesn't have the time to call me back after leaving messages and emailing. They also don't like to answer the phone or pass messages to their warranty department.

Yes, I know I complain about it a lot but if I win the fishing derby this year I can buy another TT and I'll shut up.

Where did you buy it from?

I would give Peter Dobson at Hirsch precision a call he deals with their warranty and may be able to help you out

I like Swarovski on my big game rifles, because of the clarity, light transmission , light weight and constant eye relief. I prefer the HD-5 lockplex on my target and varmint rifles. At one point in time, every rifle I owned wore a Leupold, but I haven't owned one in many years.
