BC is no centerfire rifles, just 22 or shotgun.

edit: Checked the regs, I was mistaken on this one. Not sure how I managed that, but I predict the coyote rifle will now be bringing home chicken from time to time. ;)

410 seems to do the job great. I don't have one so I'll be taking the 22 with me.

Ruger m77 22, 4x scope. I've also used everything from my 243 to my 338 since my grouse hunting is done while hunting bigger things. I've also tried those "partridge cartridges" which has a 32 pistol cartridge inserted in the back of a thing that looks like a case for a 308, -06, or what have you. Unfortunetly they don't seem to be very accurate.

Centre-fire rifle for grouse?? Don't you feel a bit underpowered??:p :p I've used a Savage o/u .22/20 ga. for nearly 40 years, as well as my Dad's old Tobin 12 ga. sxs. I am thinking about using a bazooka next year......
