Your comments on using a P7m13 for IDPA and/or IPSC?

I'd love to hear your comments on using a P7m13 for IDPA or IPSC.

Also, I'd like to know the IDPA and IPSC (NOT the USPSA) status of the P7M13. Am I right that it is ESP for IDPA? And IPSC Standard?

How many mags?

Also, how many mags would you suggest for IDPA or IPSC in this gun (10+1)? Or a P7m8 for that matter? Yes I know 8+1 will be a big disadvantage...

Most IPSC people I see have 5 mags. I carry 8, but bring about 15 to a match to save time. The P7 I think is standard, I know for a fact it isnt production as I checked the list.

Also are you aware that some version have a bad tendency after a few rapid shots to get really hot and can burn your hand? This may or may not be an issue depending upon how fast you fire it. Plus I have seen holsters for it, but you will probably be limited to more high quality leather ones, Im not sure you could get a cheap kydex style one for it.

IDPA will work fine with 3 mags. Five would be better. Lots of holsters available, blade-tech makes good ones that are IDPA-ready.
