ruger 243 - just a sporter but will take them at 400 yd all day.was shooting Mccracken 63 gr but am all out(they were great) 75 vmax are working good.I have 222,223,22-250 & swift (+hornet) the 243 is the one I pick if I am not sure about ranges. hornet is fun over a call

I am pretty happy with it, the scope mounts are custom built to the rifle, a one off if you will. The screws go in from the bottom, threading into the top halves of the rings which makes scope installs fun.
Glad you guy's like it! When I bought it from Wholesale Sports they said an Older Fellow had it built. When he past away, his family brought it in on consignment.
Christy promised to never do that with my stash. I must say she has taken clain to this one, asking where "Her" gun is going everytime I head for the door with it. The stock is the Gem of this piece by far with the checkered curved butt plate.
The Reciever was built in Berlin which is kind of cool too.
Sounds like there's lots of different styles for varmint rigs here. We need more pics!

Tikka T3 Lite in 22-250 with a Tasco 6-24x40 scope. I have taken 9 yotes with it this winter so it seems to be workin good! I like the caliber, currently using 55gr balistic tips... seem to get the job done. I just got the rifle this fall so I havent had much time (or warm weather) to try different shells in it. Seems accurate enough. Will be upgrading scopes soon I hope though..shouldn't have bought this one.
here's one you guys have seen before...the "Frankenrifle"....
Rem 700 short action with Sako extractor, Dakota bolt handle and fluted bolt, stainless 40X 223 barrel rechambered to 22-250 and cut to 24"...in an HS stock with a Timney trigger and a 6-24X Elite 4000,..the 50 gr VMax over a bunch of H414 works very well.

shooting a 40grn nosler ballistic tips over 37.5 grn varget cci lrm primers(havent chronyed it yet)
next is a sako 25 06 with a burris signature 6-24x44
shooting a 75 grn vmax over 57 grn of imr 4350 cci lrm primers for 3650fps

I love the pic with the snowy pasture, brings back alot of great memories of past gopher hunts, and spring bear season too!

Why harvest the pelt of course, what else! A good few eat the meat too, not bad, apparently. We feed to carcasses to a neighbouring mink farm, there's a few other critters people raise that make use of the meat as well.

and use the carcass for magpie shooting or use it for trapping snarring other coyotes. (beaver probably works best though)
I shoot a Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1 chambered to a .218 Mashburn Bee. Need to finish my stock off yet, but it shoots great. Have a Tasco Varmint 2.5-10 on top. Shooting Hornady 45gr. Bee bullets at 3050 fps. Installed a Huber Concepts trigger.....highly recommended. Can't figure out how to post pics though, sorry!
