your cz shdow loads

Looking around for recipes.

I have bdx 124 fmj bullets for now with hp38 on a dillon 550. Will also be using berries at some point and would like loads for their 124's.

Info for what works or you would be appreciated

I've never used hp38, but for the berry's 124gr hbrn-tp i use
4.1gr of N-320 at 1.14
4.1gr of titegroup at 1.14

both work quite well for me

For the berry 124 I use 4.9 of N340. Gets me 1025fps

I use the 135 lead round nose. It is a bit more accurate than the 124. 3.5g of Titegroup for about 1000fps.

for me and my shadow -

135 grain lead (DRG) 3.3 grains of titegroup gives me 965 FPS
147 plated bullet with 3.2 titegroup gives me very close to the same 965 FPS
I load to 1.10 OAL because that's what my pistol needs for proper feeding and reliability with the bullets that I use.

My Shadow likes 4.3gr of W231 with the 124gr Berry's (or CamPro: pretty much identical bullet), and an OAL of 1.087. Yup, Shadows have short chambers.

For me mostly use 4.2gr HP-38 w/Berry's 124s OAL 1.150 works in mine no problem. This gives me 1000 fps.

I use 4.1g of N320 with my Frontier complete plated 124g bullets at OAL 1.138. Works great in my shadow and sti USPSA 1911.

Berry 124gr hollow base with 5.2gr Longshot gives 1030 fps and nice groups.

 

[Easy 9mm]

Although not through a shadow, my 9mm load is 124gr Berry's with 4.5gr bullseye at 1.125". I have run these through my current P99 is use for IPSC, my Jericho that i sold, and my friend's beretta 92 with perfect feeding and cycling for over 3000 rounds, not a single malfunction. I use this load in my P99 with a 4.1" barrel for IPSC and it makes 132 power factor.
