If there was gun hunting in SW Ontario my son would be using a Remington 700 BDL in .270 and I would be using a Carl Gustav Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55

I have everything from shotgun to .300 win mag , I just throw a piece of paper with the name of each gun on it into a hat, and then pick one piece of paper, and that's my gun for the year's deer hunt, only way i get to use them all

I'll be carrying newly acquired Brno model 21 7X57 for deer and a custom Mauser in .375 Taylor(.375/.338) for Elk/Moose/Bear on my trip to western Alberta in September.

I'll be using my new Ruger M77 Mark II compact .308 Win with a Leupold VX-II 1-4 scope. Before that I was using a Winchester Model 70 in 30.06 with a Bushnell scope.

Nice choice. I will be using my Husky 1600 in 6.5x55 with B&L 3-9x40 as well.
Great deer medicine. I'm hoping to get my first WT this year. That would complete my BC deer trifecta: Blacktail, Mule & Whitie.

well at my earlier post I hadn't decided yet , but I wrote all my rifles down on a piece of paper for each rifle , threw it into my hat , and it came up officially , this year I will be using my savage 7mm win mag topped by a shiny new nightforce 3.5-15x50 scope.
