Hey everyone!
So it's been a few years since I've done trap and skeet. Now that I've bought some land, I'm looking at doing clay pigeon shooting on my property. So the million dollar question is what to get? I know it's personal preference, but some advice from people who've had more experience would be appreciated! When I shot trap and skeet, I started off with a Benelli Super Nova. It served me well, but to be honest I never saw it as a "pretty" gun. Everyone at the club had super expensive over/under guns and I was the guy with the pump Benelli. So my question starts off with what advantages are there getting a o/u vs. a semi? Next, do you really have to spend an arm and a leg to get a decent gun? For example, I came across a Fausti NWTF o/u that seems like a very nice o/u, but I can't find any details online about it. Does anyone have any experience with these? What advantage would I have with another brand? I know that I'm pretty vague at this point, but I'm trying to narrow down what I should be looking for. Oh, and now that I've spent all my money on my new property, I'm on a pretty tight budget and therefore looking at best bang for my buck versus the Cadillac of all guns. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
