One more for ya. I just love 380's. The" Half way caliber". Won't go into stopping power...
A lot of greats came around chambered for the 9's younger(Alright not younger, slightly shorter) brother, I won't bore you with the list
cause I know you must have a fave. So.. What is it. I'll throw mine in this time. The 1910 was my favorite
for years cause of the lines, but there's something about the Walther PP .....
 
Ya mean a stretched 1910 right? I like'm too but if your going to go that long, well then .... And the bayonet frame adjustment and all.
Just go to a full size. Hmmm. Next thread Belgian or other Hi powers?? Don't have one, so let someone else post.
 
My favorite .380 auto is the Cobray M11 :evil:

32 Round magazines make up a lot for lack of stopping power.

Of course, its prohibited here in Canada but in the US its still legal ;)

Yup, stretched out 1910. To my eyes, looks better than the 1910. Not a vest pocket gun (not that it really matters in Canada) but still pretty small siting next to my others....

Defense Distributed's "Wiki Weapon" is the finest 9mm short ever produced. I like may 1922 as well. If I had a 3D printer I'd give it a whirl.
I'd like to try a tilt barrel 380 like the Pico.
 
I have one of the Shanghai Police Colt 1908 models in .380. It has a "restricted" barrel. It's not my idea of a favorite pistol, but in its time it was considered outstanding, and it is still pretty good.
 
Hey a restricted barrel on a PP looks just about natural, on a 1910 tolerable, on a 950 Minx well........
 
Browning had a little 380 years ago which was a Beretta copy I believe, but with nice wood grips , what was it like? I think it was called the BDA? Are they still around can you still find them anywhere? Oh .... the barrel length is probably a problem…
 
My favorite is the P7K3, it's a baby P7M8, smaller but with the same length grip. Super soft shooting with a hydraulic recoil buffer kind of like an arlilery piece, and non of the heat issues during training like with its bigger brothers. Also caliber convertible to 32ACP and to 22LR. Amazing little gun!
 
My current favorite is the Colt Mustang Pocketlite. It shoots from a locked breech, the recoil is amazingly mild for such a tiny pistol, and it holds 3" groups at 10 meters offhand. And so tiny!

Second favorites are the PP, PPK, FN1910, FN1922, Beretta 84 ... really hard to pick a second.

The HK P7K3 is impossible to find here -- are there any? I have also never seen a Mauser HSc in .380, though the HK copy shows up on the EE from time to time.
 
I like the Colt 380s too, one of the few locked breech 380s and they handle like a mini 1911. The Beretta cheetah models make a nice full size 380.

There are four P7K3s registered in Canada. The HK4 is not quite a Mauser HSc copy. They were both designed by Alex Seidel who was one of the first employees at H&K after he left Mauser post war. They are somewhat similar as the HK is based on the Mauser but the HK4 is a more advanced design. Also the HK4 makes a bad 380 pistol as they tend to crack their aluminium frames when shoot a lot in 380.
