Your favorite bulk round nose 22lr.

Strictly round nose? AE solids, they run well in my 10/22 and M93. However, I can usually find Win 555's cheaper and they work better on gophers (not that it matters with the M93).

I use blazers in my 64B, but my 10/22 doesn't like them as much as the wild cats, Winchester Super X, or the Dynapoints.

I use cyclones in my Stevens 300

My vote would go to the blazers or the Winchester super X for RN. Wildcats seem hard to get lately.

Federal Champions are always pretty good. They work well with both my pistol and my 10-22. I just went through a box of 500 Winchester Dynapoints and had no misfires at all and they are cheaper(24$) than the Federals(29$). It doesn't hurt to try different stuff. Best I have used though is CCI Mini Mags but they are pricey(45$).

my marlin 795 is very picky. It needs copper plated bullets or it gets dirty after 100 rounds and won't function properly and i use nice heavy 40 gr. bullets in it. if you have a cycling problem try a heavier grain bullet. no round nose, but my 795 loves winchester powerpoint 40 gr hollow points. also not bulk or cheap. But fr me at least, i'm willing to pay the extra 10-15 bucks a brick in order to have faith in the reliability of my gun. some guns just don't like cheap ammo.

My Savage MKII is pretty fussy about ammo that it will feed, round nose (with or w/o hollowpoint doesn't matter) is the only ammo that will work reliably in that rifle.

Of all the locally available ammo the Blazers are the most accurate by a long shot. Velocitors made a very good showing as well (1/2" at 50Y), but those are pricey and I have to go out of town to get them.

My 10/22 will shoot anything and everything, but I have never checked it for accuracy since it has a 5MOA red dot and i tend to shoot it as fast as I can pull the trigger. :)
