Everybody has their own preference for a grouse gun and caliber ... what is yours?

I personally love my sxs 1924 12 gauge with 25" barrels choked cylinder bore. I shoot 2 3/4" #7 1/2 shot through this gun and the spread is so even and spread out that anything up to 25 yards will get hit and will only have a couple pellets in it... perfect grouse gun for me.

My J.S. Boreham SxS, sidelock, straight stock English double, 2 1/2" chambers. Light and fast.

my Ithaca 37 featherlight in 16 gauge. It has a 24" barrel with a poly choke that I use on IC. 1 oz of #6 gets the job done.

It used to be my old Browning Design made by Westernfield 12 ga. autoloader. I'm pretty sure after this season it will be my new Browning Citori White Lightning 12 ga.

Savage 24 I've used for over 40 years. .22/20 ga. I also used my Dad's old kicker Tobin for a long time. If I get a chance this Fall, I may take the old thing out again. I can still see my Dad knocking down a Prairie Chicken or a bush partridge with it. He even got the odd Hungarian Partridge. He never used anything but Imperial Special Long Range. Oh man, did those fired hulls ever smell good!!:)
