What is your favorite med range+ hunting scope above 3-9 magnification and $1000+ price?
I am currently using a VX-3 8.5-25×50 30 mm tube on my 300 win mag and the glass quality is very reasonable. I never use above 20x really and find myself closer to 15-18 max. Obviously not a lightweight scope but its reasonable and on a 20moa base it can reach out there.
Would like to pick up another good scope for my second hunting rifle and looking at Nightforce SHV, as well as Zeiss and Trijicon 5-20×50. What do you like?
