Your favorite ridiculous handgun price!

The EE is caveat emptor.

Stuff sells if it sells. A seller is free to ask what he/she wants for their stuff. The buyer needs to decide if they want to buy or not.

Period. Full stop.

So, let's not have any more personal attacks. Thanks.

........and rifles.

Tell that to my AR-15. As per the May 01 2020 OIC prohibition order:

"Owners of firearms and devices that were prohibited on May 1, 2020 are to keep them securely stored in accordance with their previous classification. The Display, Storage, Transportation and Handling of Firearms by Individuals Regulations (the Regulations) are available on the Department of Justice website.
Owners may not transfer these firearms to other individual owners.
These prohibited firearms and devices may only be transported under limited circumstances.
These prohibited firearms and devices cannot be legally used for hunting unless allowed through the amnesty.
Newly prohibited firearms cannot be used for sport shooting, either at a range or elsewhere."

So yeah, there's that. Something to think about.

I am definitely not feeling the $3900 for the 'Smolt' - the S&W and Colt pieced together.

"You will be hard press to find anything like these guns" - no sh*t.... they are converted prohib compromises and as such have zero collector value imo. I don't care who did the work, I wouldn't want them at any price, or suggest anyone pay more than 1k/1.5k tops.

The prices for the last few auctions are quiet high, especially when you can find some of those pistols at retailers for less.

Yeah it was entertaining watching standard Glock 17 or 19 sell for $1400+ (plus the 15% fee, plus tax, plus shipping), and I won a Shadow Systems auction for less than retail.
