Your favourite buffer tube sling mount?

Ultimately I prefer the PWS enhanced buffer tube with QR sling attachments built in. Might be worth Looking at along with the other sollutions.

I don't have either of these, but figured I'd chime in cuz I like the sound of my own voice, lol.
Seriously though, I just do not trust QD sling mounts. Call me crazy, but I just don't. Even lightweight carbines can get heavy once you start adding even just basics like a light (and its mount), optic (and its mount), and BUIS. On a static range things will probably be fine, but if you're doing anything other than that, even just transitioning to a pistol on said static range, forces on the sling mount can increase dramatically.
Those little nubs do not inspire me with confidence. I am not the only one who thinks this. I'd stick with something like a hook/clasp type sling and mount attachment. In the end, to each his own, of course.

I initially wasn't even considering QR for these exact reasons. The only real advantage of QR was easy sling removal for storage in an already cramped safe. I'm by no means set on that method of attachment. Thanks for the input.

I bought one of these as a part of the sling and mount combo.. Needed something for light range use, a couple of hours per session, that wasn't gonna dig into my shoulder like an MS2, plus Zahal is a great company. They offer excellent service!

Before you could also buy it separately, but it never hurts to have a spare sling if you need to loan yours to someone.

I originally didn't trust QD sockets either until I used my magpul sling on my Barrett MRAD. They didn't come out once put in on this. It they don't fall out on this beast then I trust them on my other rifles which are 1/3 the weight. I also like how they don't leave any marks on the rifles.
