I have a Seizmik OHGR (overhead gun rack) for my Honda. I’m pretty sure I bought it through Amazon. They’re not cheap but it’s rock solid and holds two long guns. Keeps them handy and relatively dust free under the roof.
For my setup, a solid utv gun rack that clamps to the dash or roll bar has been night and day. Mounted low and inside the cab makes rifles easy to reach without having them bouncing around in a tool bin. I run a Kolpin-style bracket and it eats the bumps without anything shaking loose definitely worth getting one that uses multiple attachment points for stability in rough terrain.
It's a little clearer bush wise in southern BC plus the pioneer is tiny and narrow, only 50 inches wide.sorry that just scares me, I've got enough scraps & rub marks on the roll bar of my SxS to even imagine the damage done.
Granted I'm in eastern bush type country not the wide open country!
