Mr Rigpig do you happen to use Starline 223 brass at all?

No, 223 is one I'm not set up to load for, Haven't shot my 223 in over 10 yrs(Norinco 84s-2). Seems starline is the brand usually available when I was buying brass in various calibers though.

Cool :) Hasn't done me wrong yet either. But I'd seen some older reviews showing that the capacity/volume for their 223 brass was way low. Apparently fixed now, but wanted to check.

Not cool that the $@*&%*@& that be screwed ya on the AK rifle. Sorry man.

I hear ya on that.
Only "good" thing that came from that was 12(5) status, not that it really matters anymore. Stupid.

Funny how that all came to be, I wanted an AR at that time but the 84s was 1/2 the cost so I went that route. At that time restricted rifles had to go to the local police station, and then you would go pick up from there. Boy did I ever get a lecture from the local cop, about how there was absolutely no reason to have such a rifle, and so on.

Funny thing is I have owned that rifle since 1992 and it still has not committed a mass murder? I guess it must faulty.

Oh, for Gawd's sake.

R-P brass is where its at, SuperCub?

It's all I've ever used in my 257Roberts. No issues whatsoever. I have enough here for two life times so won't be switching any time soon.

The 257R is an absolute deer slayer and is far and wide a better choice than the 275 Rugby.

LOL

Oh yeah? Cool!

One of these days I'll try one...would right now if I didn't already have a 6.5 you-know-what.

Course we know how terrible of a choice that is too :) But the Roberts really looks like a ballistic sweet spot. Happy its working for you!

I consider the 6.5 YKW to be a better choice than the 257R these days. Try buying a new 257R rifle or ammo to start with, plus I need a long action to get a 3" OAL.

These issues are nicely addressed with the 6.5 YKW. I have a 6.0 YKW here and like it a lot.

It's tough to argue with a Steven's Favourite, a Suzuki Samurai, and Bearded Collie but I will give it a try.
