I thinK i got it covered but i normaly take my 300Wm or 6.5x55, like the 270 and the 7mm Rums as well for the deer sized stuff..

Bear/moose I usually hunt with a 338 wm or a 375 of some choice.

Varmints cant go wrong with a 243, 22-250 or a 222

and small stuff lobe the 22 cal and 17 HMRs

I have many firearms, but last fall bought a rifle/shotgun combo that I can hunt anywhere with - Tikka 412S O/U with 12 guage barrels, a set of 9.3X74R barrels, and 28 guage tubes as well.
F/M chokes and skt/skt choke for the 12 guage, skt/skt for the 28 tubes.
Accuracy with the 9.3 barrels can only be described as amazing for a double .
Oh ya, and the 9.3 barrels have a European twist style quick detach scope
(6X IOR) and I have a NECG peep sight to go on the back mount.
All aspects covered in a fitted case.
I can only say one thing ......

I see all these nice guns to buy now, and think " but then I have the Tikka and don't need it because I could get a set of 20 tubes" or
"But I have the Tikka and don't need that beautiful 4 guage set"
Or ..... *^$^*) Tikka's going up for sale methinks!:D

Well..... I want to use all of them! :D just might take me a few seasons to get there! But if you really want to know what my favorite is, the kimber 8400 .300wsm and the anchutz .222. But it's really hard to pick favorites!

' Cept I have more rifles in more calibers and way more handguns in way more calibers.:D
