Your last rifle

My Brno model 21 in 7x57. It's had a few tasteful tweaks done (case hardened trigger guard and floor plate, hot blued the bolt, GEW98 milled follower and a GEW98 bolt release), and I have the parts to install a ZG-47 safety. Can all be returned back to original. Love this rifle and don't mind spending money on it. It feels right in my hands, and there isn't a load it doesn't like.

If you were to clear out all your irons, what is the last rifle you use for big game? Not looking for a calibre pissing match, just the Make and Model of your "one gun".

Doesn't have to be one you already own either...

What a horrible picture that makes in my mind. Limited to only ONE GUN?? That's cruel and unusual abuse of the psyche.

There are so many to choose from, that all perform extremely well for their intended purposes.

It is the toughest looking, bubba'd up unit. Spot rust all over, wood is terrible (sawn off butt...shotgun pad screwed on), a 20 x made in China scope.
Trading an SMLE for it...you can imagine...
But all rules are off...can do anything to it now. Bbl change, casehardening, bbq paint camo...anything. The possibilities are endless...

Pretty happy with this new BAR Mk.3 I picked up in .270 Win. Loves 140gr Accubonds. Plenty for anything I come across in MB.

I'm seriously thinking about a rattle can camo job and decent glass for the winter season...just to be a sh*t distrurber. Sucks cause 220 ain't a deer cartridge in AB...mind you it'd likely ruin more meat anyhow.
If I start looking now, maybe get something built by next year this time...no hurry
