A quick word would be good. It's not like they are trying to contact China (yes I'm hinting at something). I happen to be currently in a place, that thanks to the fact that I can go pick it up (no shipping) has the best price I have found on ammo in Canada.
Just need to separate some bullets from casings, now. And there will be an OD green 102 to assist me in doing that!

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I'm getting pretty antsy to hike around and make some smoke and noise with one of these.
They've had some ####ty rifles - but split down the middle? What percentage of Savage 10TR buyers got guns that couldn't zero at 25m? That's a god damn bolt gun, literally a stone club level of sophistication to make compared to an AR15.

That's really impressive. Except for the 1/2" with no reference. A shotgun can shoot 1/2" if the target is close enough lol.

They did an interview with a magazinge or organization or something for Facebook and answered questions like Does it come with a magazine? They never once mentioned accuracy potential and already people here on CGN are doubting it.

I would concur that an NEA is a good stand alone platform. My issues have been in how it doesn't play well with other platform builders. If you just run it as it comes it seems to work just fine as a stand alone rifle... great barrels. It just does not seem to be milled to accurate enough tolerances to reliably and repeatedly interchange with other manufacturers parts and components. When your dealing with a the Lego of rifles QA/QC in tolerances is key and is an area where NEA has proven to be consistently and more to the point still even recently (for me 2016) sorely lacking. But if you run it by itself you'll be golden... its a fine rifle. I'm looking forward to getting one
They said it HAD shot .5 MOA. My rifle HAS shot .75 MOA with Norinco ammo and I keep that target on the wall to remind me that sometimes the stars can align just so. And my bolt gun has put 5 rounds in one hole at 200m, but only once.
If this rifle can shoot MOA - 5 round groups at 100yds in 1" or under with Fed Gold Medal Match with regularity (without breaking) that'll be more than sufficient IMO.
