** Your NEA102 build **

After some initial promising groups that I haven't been able to duplicate, I'm starting to get quite frustrated with this rifle.

Even with a Faxon barrel and Brownell's BCG, I'm still getting the standard 3-4 MOA with about 10 makes of factory ammo; handloads using Hornady 150 FMJs and Sierra 168 MKs; and two different optics. I'm getting to the point now where I'm just about ready to dump this rifle on the EE as I can't get it to shoot worth a damn.

what are your expectations?

faxon is not krieger, even fulton arms is not krieger even though criterion is built in the same factory.

I would be happy with anything under 3 moa when I get mine.

If I am unhappy i would look at the very top light weight barrels i.e. proof research

I realize that Faxon isn't a Krieger but there was no appreciable difference in accuracy going from one to the other. As far as my expectation, I'm not interested in a 2-4 minute rifle particularly when 0.75-1.5 is achievable from other stock AR10 rifles. That said, this is my experience, with my rifle and if you are getting better results that's great. Skimming through a lot of preliminary reports it seems that these are, generally speaking, capable of 3-4 MOA.

Just got back from the range. It was -20 this morning got it sighted in but didn’t have time to reload any ammo for it last night so I just brought whatever factory stuff I had on hand. Rifle functioned flawlessly until later in the day. Started having a few failure to feed. Got home and the pmag I was using was the issue. Follower was binding big time. The short pmag that came with the rifle wasn’t binding at all but I never used it.

I was shooting poorly. My brother in law shot a 0.95” group with Hornady superformance 168 AMAX. I couldn’t shoot anything better than 2 moa with the 102 or my 6.5x55 which I’ve shot tons of sub moa groups with. It was still a great time and the rifle was a hoot to shoot. It was pretty simple to ring the 300m gong with the 168 amax which I sighted in with. Switched to 7.62 Hirtenberger and it was hitting high and right. I am going to reload the 130ttsx for hunting. I can’t comment on the accuracy or inaccuracy of the rifle yet.

The bolt not cycling is likely bad gas rings not sealing in the bolt carrier. When I got mine I could stand my bolt up with bolt extended and it stayed. If yours doesn't that could be the problem.

it doesnt stay "up" when I put it on the table. I'm waiting for my go/nogo gauges and try the brownell bcg. if it still doesnt cycle, I'll start a warranty claim.

Thanks for the advice and input.

First or second run rifle?
Ordered fde which should arrive 3-4 weeks.

I would be pissed if the rifle came new with screwed up bcg/gas rings

how long does it take to arrive?

Next import is April :-( Ha well Worth the wait.

I did go full retard at Brownells lol....
