** Your NEA102 build **

FFS, a company that claims to be aerospace and global defense make such ####y parts.

I used to work in aerospace... Ill just say this, don't ever fly on a Boeing 785, ever, the beams and stringers didn't go through proper ultrasonic quality control.

so aerospace means nothing

So the stripped receivers have led me down the thought of actually building a BLC 102. My research of building an ar reminds me of working building computers with their modularity. Except for there's no handy dandy website like pcpartpicker to check where to get parts and if they're compatible. Any recommendations of where to source parts that are compatible for half decent prices?

Diligaf just posted a list of crap from Brownells, I’m getting whatever he’s getting and hoping he knows his sh!t.... lol

Gen1 ... seemed to fit just fine

Gotta steal this pic for a question.

The screws on the safety lever on mine are stripped.....

Anyone have an idea if a standard AR or LR308 safety will fit?

Well this is expensive lol... Fulton emailed me back saying they would highly recommend I get the bolt so they can do proper head space check, so I got the entire BCG since its on sale...lol...

100$ US to @#### to import 3 parts
240$ US for the Fulton Armory BCG NiB-X, High Pressure Bolt & Firing Pin
350$ US for the Fulton Armory Criterion 18.5" .308 AR, Light Weight, 1x10, Chrome Lined, Threaded, Match Quality
30$ US for the proper AR10 gas tube.

Bolt look pretty good tho ! Time to list my Brownells BCG ON EE

I just went for the FA bolt. Not the BCG.

I SHOULD have done the BCG...

It did on the Gen 1. I replaced mine as it was a POS. Aftermarket ones worked just fine.

Ok perfect! Thx.

I have a G1 lower.

I would have not liked to rip this thing out and not been able to easily replace it.

I have a few DPMS ones and a few Armalite ones. If they don't work, I'll try another name brand.

I'll have to use a stripped screw mech.

I don't know. I just got word a few days ago that my PAL was approved and now am feeling kinda overwhelmed looking at where I should spend money. I have been looking at the M305, but the Chinese QC of them is throwing me off. MVP looks good still would like a semi if possible, I am drop dead in love with the 102 just the price. Kinda like the upper and lower sets because it spreads the cost out over time. Though they might be sold out by the time my PAL gets to me so I can input my info.

Just buy one and message Ryan that you will update him with the PAL when you get it. They're not shipping till April or something anyways. Any accurate 6.5 cm barrels? Bought a stripped set and thinking of making a precision version.

Curios what spec guys are tightening the barrel nut to? Slr said 35 lbs but the guy making my barrel suggested 80. Wondering if the lower numbers are contributing to poor accuracy.

The SLR bbl nut is not what I'd call overly beefy.

I don't have a bbl not wrench yet, so for now torqued like AR15, more than 30 and less thab 60.

It's working fine for now. Although I did basically glue the bbl in.

I will retorque after to check differences.

Well I’ll post mine too. Basic FDE 102. With a black CTR stock, moe grip (gonna pick up a black one), ALG trigger, battle comp, mbus, and a Burris tac30 in a pepr mount. If the 308 barrel shoots I’ll keep it. If not I’m going light weight 6.5 creedmoor with an SLR handguard. Seeing if I can replicate burnt bronze with my home anodizing kit and anodize the upper, lower and handguard.

Where did you get that battle comp from, thanks friend!

I don’t even remember. I think I got it from the EE.

Have since put a black grip on it. Gonna strip the thing down and blast the cerakote off and anodize it myself. I think I can mimic burnt bronze with my anodizing setup. I’ll post pics, if it doesn’t turn out to be an abortion lol
