I have 2 of the cheapest Covenants, 4-16 versions, no issues, they were under $300 each when on sale. One is FFP, the other is SFP, FFP is pretty useless as the reticle isn't usable until at least 10x, and at the range I'm always on 16x anyway.
I've had them on a 7mm mag and they didn't croak, one is currently on a 257Wby and still alive, the other is on a 6.5CM now. They are clear enough for me, no issues with the glass with either one, clicks are positive and audible. Not a ton of adjustment (50moa) so that is a bit of an issue for long range or big drops unless you want to use holdovers. Strelok does have these reticles in there which is handy. The center dot is .25moa on the 2nd FP scopes and .33moa on the FFP at max, I prefer the 2nd FP version.
This was some load development a few weeks ago, I like the dot for precision shooting, easy to center in the red bull.
