SKs-D's more expensive then VZ858's ... lol... Never thought Id see that day....

The funny thing is that a lot of people have that much into their Tapco SKS. I bought my unfired D last year for $600.00 with 3 mags. At that price the CZ858 is a much better choice.

Not really I sold a CZ858 for $1200 a couple of hours before the SKS D, so there is still a big gap in price between the 2.
Looks like Wolverine will have a shipment of CZ858 around Christmas and they are aiming at sub $800 mark for a brand new rifle. As for SKS-D it`s a used firearms market, so occasionally you can find a good deal but more often you'll have have to pay ``miss the boat`` premium on one.
Just dropped 450 for a original SKS-D in perfect condition with 3 mags.
Thats a lot of cash just to add to the collection, But with the recent price increase I have seen on EE it was now or never.
