Looking for your opinions please on clay launchers and a hand thrower. I've been looking at the Trius One Step Launcher, and the Wing one hand thrower. Looking at buying them both.

Are these good products? Pro's? Cons?

Does the Wing One take it's toll on an arthritic shoulder? Will the thrower be reaching for the Ibuprofen at the end of the day?

I do not have many hundreds of $$ to spend on these toys, yet need to get in shooting form for up coming grouse this fall. Obviously, the hand launcher requires a 2nd person present, but the One Step does not, certainly a "pro" for that product.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Hand flinging gets old quick. One step is a big improvement over the old hand cocked machines.
I think the One Step is cheaper than any 3/4 #### machine, which also takes a lot of work out of the process.

I have a One Step coming.
The Wing One hand thrower has the ability [ or, the thrower does rather ] to make the clays curve in flight, left, right, or have them thrown overhand at a steep, up angle. The two old brothers selling them make it look easy to use.

The One Step is going to launch the clays the same angle / altitude, every time, yes?

I have a One Step. a great unit, allows me to shoot by myself. also, if there are a few of you out shooting you can really pump the birds out, one guy steps, the other guy put the birds in the machine, the other guys shoot.

Got a One Step 16 months ago for Christmas, absolutely love it. Ive shot by myself and with a group, have zero complaints and would recommend it to anyone.

The One Step is a durable and easy thrower to use. You can set it to three different elevations and vary the throwing tension. I've had mine for around ten years and thrown a lot of birds with it with no problems. I just bungy cord it to the ATV rack and head for the rear of my property on those days I want a little practice rather than make the forty minute drive to the club
