this year, 12 gauge for partridge, .22lr for rabbits, 6.5x55swede and 7.62x39 for deer, in the future id like a 300 win mag for moose and bear.

Deer - 50 cal TC Triumph muzzle Loader, or Mossberg 835 with Slug Barrell for stand hunting. If pushing 11-87 with 00Buck, for those close quick shots.

Upland Game - Old cooey 22lr

Waterfowl - Remington 11-87, great handling.

Moose - 270 Remington Pump, dont know the model, borrow a buddies.

Wish List
Would like to pickup a 308 or 30-06 for moose.
22-250 for predators
10/22 for small game.

Ruger 10/22 .22LR small game and practice shooting/plinking
Benelli Nova 12G Turkey, small game, waterfowl
Stevens 200 .223 Yotes
Marlin 336 30-30 (new to me this year) for Deer when on foot in the thick stuff
Remington 700 .30-06 for longer range shots at Deer from my tree-stand.

My big game rifles are a .30/06 and a .375 Ultra. I am equally comfortable with either rifle and either cartridge, but the ZG-47 .30/06 is my fair weather rifle and the McMillan stocked stainless barrel 602 is sort of an anytime anywhere rig. My other centerfire rifles don't see any big game hunting.

My tools

Here are the tools that I use.

For Moose: Remington Model 700 XCR 300 Win Mag topped with a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40mm. Use 180gr Winchester XP3
