How much work ($) you're willing to put in the project
- Line of sight will be OFF... not much of an issue for plinking... but for hunting (or HD) you better practice a lot and know how far off your pattern/POI will be.
- Depending if HD was a rhetorical concept, or something you're seriously considering...

Was just reading a thread about a guy who took a relatively new CSMC Fox 28 gauge with 30" barrels, custom made for the guy, coast in Cdn $35,000, and he cut the barrels down to 26" because he didn't like the $11,000 quote for a new set of barrels from CSMC.

Talk about value destruction!
