been looking for a 20 gauge for a while now for the g/f. Don't wanna spend alot (she is inlove with my SBEII). The gun won't get used alot. Mostly some bunnies/phesants and trap. Maybe the odd duck/goose hunt. I found this gun used in good shape. It's a Stoeger Condor Supreme 20 gauge O/U. COmes with 2 chokes, full and mod.

My question to everyone is; are these a good reliable gun? BUddies of mine bought Mossberg O/U and after about 2 season the innards wore out and now it fires both shells at the sametime. it's now junk. If there any any sort of issues with the stroegers I am walking away. I am not a fan of lower end firearms but I can get it for $350. It has had less than 100 rounds threw it. It's mint and retails for $650 at the local gun shop.

well the only remington shotgun I would ever buy again is a wingmaster. They are almost $900 now for a 20. I don't wanna spend more then $400 and prefer something used like the above firearm.

From reading other posts I would suggest taking a look at Tradex. Everyone seems to be extra happy with the guns that they got from there. The only problem is that they don't seem to have any 20g O/U but I think I saw some SxS on there site a while back

I would rather by a nice used Wingmaster, BPS, Mossberg, or what have you than a cheapo I don't know anything about. You won't know for sure the quality of them and in three or four years they may drop the line and you won't be able to get parts for it.

I have an Remington 870 Express Youth 20 gauge with a 21" barrel. Its size and weight is great for smaller shooters but IMO it kicks about the same as my 12's. I believe that this is because it is smaller, lighter and has a shorter barrel. The weight of an O/U should help with recoil.

thats what I was thinking and if I can talk him down to $300 I think I'm laugh'n. FYI I will never buy another remington product after my 870 super mag. Sent it back 4 times and was called a lier. I researched it myself fixed it and sold it. To bad for them becuase I spend WAY to much on firearms. I'm now a Benelli guy. OH and just to clear things up the g/f isn't worth the money esp with how the prices are jumping again.
