Your Tikka T3 30-06 Premium Bullet Reloads

Hey guys, my neighbor has a 30-06 T3 that he would like me to reload for. I have a bunch of reloading manuals, but to save me sometime and him bullet money what premium bullet and powder combo do you guys have luck with? I'm looking for a MOA load. I was looking at suggesting Barnes TSX bullets as this is for moose, and I've had great accuracy with bullet in my guns. So what can you fella's suggest....Thanks in advance:cheers:
 
I use a 150 gr Barnes TTSX ahead of 60 gr of H4350. This load consistently shoots sub .75" @ 100 yards. This is my do everything load from deer to moose.
 
Ive used 57.5 grains of IMR4350 with 168 grain triple shocks on moose, deer, bear, and even little sitka deer that are about 80 lbs soaking wet.

It's a consistent killer that does enough damage to kill the biggest animal quite well without roughing up the little ones too bad. If there is such a thing as 'one load to do it all' that'd be it, if you can get it to shoot well out of that gun.
 
I have three Sako's in 30-06 and they all shoot well using Barnes TTSX 150 gr over 60 gr of IMR 4350.

If this is your friend only gun than TTSX in 165 gr and 57 gr of IMR 4350 would be my suggestion.

Those are max charges so start 10% lower.

I have used a load like this for years in 3-4 30-06 rifles. I started with a 165 gr speer hotcore, then moved on to a 165 gr Hornady spirepoint for no particular reason, played with 165 gr partitions, then finally settled on 168 gr TSX.

My son has killed truckloads of game up to a very large Kudu and Zebra along with over a dozen whitetails.

57.5 grs of H4350, Fed 210m primer, RP brass.

Perfect, thanks for all the info fella's. I will start with this powder and try some TSX's and see the results. We should be GTG. Thanks to everyone's suggestions.
