Your top 3 shotguns ?

If you had to chose only 3 shotguns to have and use what would they be ???

I'm a meat and potatoes ...keep it sinple and useful kind of person .... so for me I'd have

1. Savage model 24 ( 22 / .410 ) combo

2. Remington Wingmaster 870 in 20 ga

3. Benelli M2 in 12 ga

My 1953 Winchester Model 21 12ga. 30'' BBl full & mod. No.2 My Beretta L H 682 E sporting 30'' BBL & no3 .My 1955 Trap Grade model 12 12ga. 28''bbl mod choke . I could get by with these 3 if I absolutely had to, I hope it never comes to this.

1: Maverick 88 - 12 gauge pump - The do anything, go anywhere tank

2: Savage 24 .410/22 over under - handy for virtually all small game/varmints.

3: Mossberg 500E - .410 gauge pump - just something a little lighter so the smaller critters aren't turned into hamburger.

Not much into shotguns anymore, though I still own several.
I could make do with just my Winchester 370, 20 gauge.
Been with me for almost 40 years.
Bought it new, but scratched up, from CTC in Kirkland Lake,
Reduced to $25, from about 30 bucks.

From the ones I have, my three favorites are;

A single shot Ranger .410 that sits on the dash of my truck for ditch chickens while on Moose hunts.

For most upland bird hunting, an English, straight stock, light weight SxS 12ga.

And for waterfowl, an AYA 10ga. SxS, 3 1/2" magnum.

My #1 for clays is my Franchi Renassaince 12 ga O/U,seem to be able to shoot that one the best of all of them.

My favorite for upland hunting is my Browning Citori field 20 ga O/U,short(26" barrels) light,easy to carry all day.

Third is my old Savage-Fox SxS,dont know why except it just feels right for anything. Actually,I like the old thing so much my next one will be a 20ga SxS,probaly a Yildiz.

I considered buying a new 20ga from the cuurent line-up, but the price is crazy high and I don't like the pistol grip on the new ones.

I was very pleased to find that 20ga a couple weeks ago on the EE.

I used to own a number of shotguns , a few years ago I decided to keep only the ones I really wanted.

I now have only two, a Beretta 686 Sporting 12ga & a Beretta 687 Sporting 20 ga.

These two guns serve my needs quite well.
