Hi.

this is just an academic question . I'm not shopping for a gun...

but still I would like to know what are the best choices for buying an older semi-auto shotgun? limited budjet please.

the gun has to be very relaible, not expensive , and shoot 3"shells.

only interested in semis

I know that auto 5 has a really good name. what else is good outthere.

another way of asking the question: top 3 used and inexpensive semis?

Please don't say the newer Baikal because I can prove you wrong ( for a semi that is..)

thanks for your time

Rem 1100 Magnum (magnums only).

A5 magnum (magnums only).

Older Beretta 301, 302, 303 magnum.

Fixed choke, magnum only, and non-steel safe barrels cut down the market for these guns.

okay don't laugh

1)winchester model 50 1957 vintage
2)winchester model 50 1958 vintage
3)winchester model 50 1961 vintage

still looking for ones from the only other years of production they shoot way smoother then the auto five and you don"t have to mess around with three different colored little washers. They self adjust which means that you can shoot a number 8 field load followed by a slug with no adjustments.
