No that's not a serious buyer. It's a courteous individual. I've asked for pics many times and always told the seller that I wasn't interested and before learning how to post pics here sent pics by email without hearing back. I don't complain about it or whine about my time being wasted or demand that sellers be serious.Gerald said:Claybuster, I think a serious buyer will acknowledge that he received the pics and make a resonable offer or let you know that he is not interested. Nobody is whining and sarcasm falls on deaf ears. And I mean that truly.
Of course your definition of who is serious and who isn't seems to be shifting.
Gerald said:If you are not looking for a particular gun to begin with, then you are just wasting my time and I find it hard to believe that you are serious.
So by the standards of Gerald I have to be already looking for a particular gun to be serious? It doesn't work that way for me. I buy a lot of guns on whim. They come up, I'm interested in learning more and then decide. I don't have a specific list of guns I am "looking for."
BTW, do you apply the same standards to yourself? Ever asked to see a gun in a store and had no intention of buying it at the time?
