Hot. Yes it was plenty hot. It was 33 when we left the house. Cooled down to around 27 or so by sundown. T-shirt hunting weather!!! I wanted to wait for cooler weather but the kid was chompin' at the bit to get out. What is a dad to do but to accommodate?

We deboned the deer the next morning and got it right into the freezer. Still looked and smelled fine. Should be tasty.
