Hi here is a short intro video to a channel I've started. It's a little rough around the edges (especially with the terminology:p) but I hope as it progress I could refine the product. Makes me nervous posting it up but good or bad I like to get your feedback. I've already made some good contact with my Provincial Rifle Association and there seems to be some interest in some of my ideas and working together. So flame away or subscribe, I am hoping to represent all the great Canadian Marksmen and Markswomen I've met.

Feedback and people subscribing will determine the content and the time. Hope to get your support.

Thanks Matt. Good footage, subscribed! Have you done any of the Service Rifle matches as well? I find there is way too little coverage of it considering its the most fun you can have with your clothes on. :)
 
Nice job Matt. I couldn't make it all the way down to Mission this year (to defend my title from 2013 !! ) but hope to compete against you in Kamloops later in the year maybe.

I've not done a Service Rifle Match however I will be working the the BCRA on a few intro 101 type video covering TR and F-class disciplines. Time and my ability will dictate what I could cover I would love to expand and to cover Service Rifle down the road, I'm not ruling it out. Right now I like to start off small and continue to expand this channel.

We have a great sport with GREAT people. For me shooting a good score is fun but talking, meeting people, listening to their good on range experience, or the challenges they've experienced as High Power shooter makes the match and puts a smile on my face. This is where the learning and education starts.
 
Hello Matt, I'd like to commend you on this venture that you have taken on. Like all new things, the road ahead is a long one that will prove to be a great deal of work. The F-Class community is very fortunate to have people going above and beyond to promote our sport. With the growing numbers of shooters, and the growing popularity in the regional championships as well as National and international competition, this site can do a great deal to help our sport. I guaranty you will have plenty of stories to tell, and support from us all.
If you have questions or need help with anything(non technical that is),please send me a PM. There is also plenty of top notch shooters and mentors in BC that would be more than happy to help.

Ya I know unfortunately it's the camera. The point and shoot HD camera I'm using right now is low end, not design to video with great audio. There's no sponsorship or money so I'll have to save up for a better system with external mics. Turning the volume down on the speaker cuts it out a little bit, unfortunately our ears key in on things and don't let it go.

Trevor thank you for the kind words, in the end I really hope I could put material that is educational, fun and gets people curious enough about F-class to try it out. I'm not soliciting donations at this time but thank you for the offer and kind gesture.
