Hi All,
Frontier firearms is selling Yugos M57 at $209.
Is it worth it ?
Also what do you thing of these handguns ?
Never had a chance to handle any :-s
Thanks for your inputs
Cheers

I bought a couple from Tradex a few months ago at $239. each. They needed a good, thorough 'de-greasing', but are in excellent shape. Really happy with my purchase. Nice, solid handgun that's a hoot to shoot. Can't go wrong at $209!

I had one; I like the larger capacity mag on these over the standard Tok, but I was unable to shoot it accurately. It was a lot of fun though; cloud of fire, noise, concussive effect and recoil!! Super well finished, and reliable. So, why did I get rid of mine? Wanted to shoot PPC and IDPA; 9mm or larger required. I miss it a bit, but a month ago picked up a GP100, so will be loading up some .357 mags for some noisy fun!

Our indoor range will be banning steel core ammo in the near future (check with your range if it is allowed, most have banned surplus ammo); it has been gouging our back stop, but it will still be allowed on the outdoor range.

What grip upgrades do you speak ?

Here's mine with Marschal grips they cost nearly as much as the pistol but it's worth it it's a fun little handgun to shoot. There are lots of other options for grips out there they made millions of these guns and while they aren't super popular over here overseas they still have quite a following.

For $200 you can't really go wrong. Ammo is also available for a pretty reasonable price. They are quite fun to shoot, suprisingly comfortable to hold and a nice crisp trigger.

If you can find a "new condition" or refurb/unfired one I have noticed they are only a few dollars more- might make a nicer shooter. Some of the used surplus ones out there are pretty beat up.
