In my mind, nothing shoots like a Mauser or looks as beautiful as a genuine Mauser. These ones are every bit genuine (and affordable) Mausers. A classic "can't go wrong" buy.

Yes, that slicked up Mauser sound is so much better than the "griiind,..slam" sound of a Remmy 700. Isn't it.

Great buy these were. Too bad I missed out.

Hey I wanna see more M48A's....!!!

150 rifles... hmm... euh... I only see 5 or 6 here !!! :p

Only been out twice with my Mauser from Marstar but it's been a blast both times. Great accuracy, surprisingly low recoil (I guess that 8.5lbs of solid wood and steel helps!), satisfying kaboom, etc. Bit of a hassle to clean the cosmoline off and I still need to let it sit in the sun once summer comes.

@Bistchen: For slings you can get an "original" for slightly more from here: http://www.mauser.net/accessories/mauser_accessories/index.htm or a replica for cheaper here: http://www.mountainstatesupply.com/slings/german-k98-yugo-m48-sling-brown.html (currently out of stock, but they had some a month ago). Any K98 sling will fit perfectly fine. I ended up getting a replica from a local store and it's been really nice.

How does the condition of the M48B's you have still showing as in stock compare? Are they in equally beautiful condition? I know the bluing is different (a much deeper blue on the A) but other than that??? Fit finish is all ok?

Thanks,
