The way i do it, is easy, no smell in the house, no dripping, trow away the bag after stuffing all the used scott towel in it.

When cleaning down all the pieces in a bucket of hot soapy water, all the cosmo stay in the bucket.

After you trow away the dirty soapy water, fill the bucket back with hot water, rinse all the parts the just lay the parts on the picnik table until dry. It's love work.

Yugos have never had big numbers imported like the russians. The non chromed barrels are more accurate unless you shoot corrosove and pit it.

You are right on and if i may add, the fact it got a gaz valve permit to shoot smootly single action. Tighten the groups a little.

And that really helps if someone likes to reload - no need to chase brass, accuracy is better when in bolt action mode and a Magnetospeed chrono can be conveniently strapped onto the grenade launcher attachment

Yugo cosmoline is way nastier than Soviet cosmoline.. Need to wait for some sunny days to clean the wood now. Metal + WD-40 does magic.

Well, it was well worth cleaning that cosmo... Yugo feels even more overbuilt than Soviet - heavy, bulky, nothing rattles, no play in the stock at all. Wood is not as nice and polished as a good Soviet one, but I bought it as a shooter anyways and I see it as a plus - it will be quite hard to scratch it. Waiting for the range to re-open now..

Yugos significantly cheaper down South vs Soviet or even Chinese. I don’t think our prices will ever reach US for Soviet rifles but our prices for Yugos wouldn’t go much higher than prices in US plus $200/300 given that you can always import from US and quality over there much better than recent imports to us.
