The main field of this book is Serbian and Yugoslavian Mauser rifles, from the KOKA to the M.48 and modern sporting rifles by Zastava. It deals also with the history of the arms and ammunition industry in former Yugoslavia, with the bayonets, accessories and cartridges.
A lot of facts are offered to the reader which still unknown in the western world.
Other rifle systems in service with the Yugoslavian forces and partisans, like Mannlicher, are mentioned also, e.g. the M.95 converted to 7.92 mm Mauser. The paper and printing quality is equal to our standards, the drawings and the English translation are excellent. The photos are a little bit poor, reminding us to the 1970s in western arms literature.
However, it is a must-have for all readers interested in European service arms and arms & ammo industry. -----------
