Who do you folks use and recommend for float charters (at least 185/206 but a Beaver would be better) out of either Whitehorse or Carcross?

Thanks.

When we flew out of Mayo up to the Snake River it was on a turbo Otter with floats. Amazing how much stuff you can get in an Otter and not only does it still float, it actually flies.

depending on your load .... Beaver is the way to go .... an Otter maybe but in those days the price will be the killer ....

where are you going and what is the plan? no im not asking you to give your secret spot ....

Whynot will certainly come. he chose black sheep for our fly in this fall ....

all the best.

1899.....You need to fly floats or wheels? If wheels work for you PM me, if it's floats you need, Blacksheep ( Cam ) or Alpine ( Gert ). Depending on where in N B.C. I might be able to set up something out of Atlin for you or Watson Lake.

PM's sent - and thanks.

@Ardent - *using Jedi mind trick* "....there are no sheep in the area....there are no grizzlies in the area"

If you're coming back into BC anyway then Atlin Air might be an option for you. Flew with them last year- great people.

The first time out we flew out of Mayo on a turbo Otter. That thing was a flying tractor, but I don't remember the charter's name.

In 2010 Ted booked us with Whitehorse Air Services. They took us in a Cessna & looked after us very well.

This one flew in while we were waiting for our ride. Sheephunter and family were coming back in.

Otter...best use of $500K I can think of.

Otters are nice, Turbo Otters are much nicer! But IMO they are both too big for private use. The cost to operate and maintain one would be very high. If I were in the market I'd look at a Cessna 185 or maybe a 206.
