Hey Guys,
Can you recommend an outfitters that guides for moose in the Yukon, that you have hunted with or know somebody that has hunted with them.

Thanks in advance,
D

I have only hunted with one Yukon outfitter, but I believe Ceaser lake outfitters who operate in the East central region are a worthwhile option. I was hunting sheep, goats, and caribou on three different hunts a few years ago, but nearly everywhere we went there were good moose populations. They are a well established outfit, hard working and honest.

A friend of mine has hunted with bonnet plume multiple times for multiple species including moose. He keeps going back - if that helps.

Ceaser Lake is a family run operation with great hardworking people.

it will be hard but if it was me i will go with a local guy: the wilkinson maybe hard to beat: the area is harder to access for locals.
do not come only for moose in case a good caribou or a grizzly shows up.

I endorse Ceaser Lake Outfitters, as well. I did a combination hunt with them for Goat and Caribou. Saw a HUGE bull moose on that hunt. They have a good area for moose and make an active effort to keep the wolf population in check.
These days, I would sooner go to Africa than spend $18,000 US on a moose hunt, but I understand the allure. Those big bulls are really impressive!
